The Trial - Student game contributions

The Trial was my final year project of my Game Art course at university :)

THE TRIAL is a First-Person AFROFUTURISTIC parkour game with an emphasis on smooth & fluid movement throughout PROCEDURALLY GENERATED LEVELS, to create endless REPLAYABILITY.
THE TRIAL utilises CULTURALLY SENSITIVE ART AND DESIGN, inspired by the deep and rich culture of the Ashanti people to create a vibrant futuristic cityscape.

Within this projected I was both an environment artist and concept artist. It was a great and enriching challenge to be conducting research into the Ashanti Tribe as well as conceptualising and modelling Afrofuturistic props inspired by this culture.
As well as creating specific assets I conducted many iterations of concepts, colour schemes and UI. I was able to showcase my skills for visual problem solving within my concept/compositional work and 3D kit-bashed scenes that defined environments and showcased prop ideas.

Check out the game and all the other hardworking members of the game at our Itch.io page linked below!
